Aashram & Temple Complex - Swamishri Shakti Putraji Maharaj

Conceptualized on the picturesque contoured site of 300 acres having the back drop of a river this proposed temple and ashram is a great example of traditional Hindu architecture where the Vedic elements are practiced in combination with modern building codes and construction techniques. The basic form is derived from the 'Nagara' temple with an architecture having the base as a square with a number of gradual projections. The concept includes 'Jagati' the raised platform, 'Antarala'- the foyer, 'Mandapa' the pillared hall and 'Shikhara'- the tower which are all co-ordinated keeping in mind the contemporary times.

All the supporting built structures like 'Chalisa Bhawan', meeting halls, 'Yogyashalas', auditoriums, medical colleges, institutional buildings are also designed with a traditional bent in the architecture.
